We're looking for a confident, persuasive individual who is ready to CHANGE LIVES through sales of our inclusive, fun, stress-free dance class membership! You'll be connecting with our clients at our classes (with social distance and masks!) to hear about their experience, learn more about their reasons for coming and why DivaDance could help them do more of what they love, and then presenting ways our membership options may help them achieve their goals! You'll also be onboarding new members and making sure they are maximizing their membership, as well as posting to our social media accounts during our classes while observing the class experience! The perfect person in this role thrives on forming meaningful rapport with everyone you meet! You're fun, values-driven, obsessed with excellence AND you want to make a difference in people's lives and a growing organization! Most importantly, you are persuasive, articulate, and confident. We provide all training, but prefer someone with customer service and/or sales experience.

Job Duties:


  • Understand how each new client is attending their first class

During Class:

  • Execute Standard Operations of dance class, including but not limited to
    • Opening and closing doors/be responsible for locking and unlocking the studio
    • Greeting Clients
    • Inputting Client Data
    • Recording class videos; Posting clips from class to Social Media
    • Processing financial transactions for existing members
    • Making Announcements in class
  • Completing sales conversations with all Client Leads, including but not limited to
    • Work in coordination with a team of Ambassadors to converse with each Client Lead
    • Processing all financial transactions
    • Solving problems by overcoming objections
    • Changing lives by making clients permanent members of the DivaDance DC community
  • Making on-the-spot executive decisions as needed to maintain the health and safety of all clients and staff members


  • Complete a post-class report to management
  • Upload class video to YouTube and post in our private Facebook Group


    • You'll be expected to attend 1-2 classes at locations centrally located in DC
    • Compensation is $25 per class
    • Classes are on weeknights at times between 6-9pm, weekend classes take place Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons
