The Gig:

We're looking for a confident, persuasive individual who is ready to CHANGE LIVES through sales and operations of our inclusive, fun, stress-free dance class membership! You'll be connecting with our clients virtually and at our classes (with social distance and masks!) to hear about their experience, learn more about their reasons for coming and why DivaDance can help them do more of what they love, and then presenting ways our membership options may help them achieve their goals! You may be perfect in this role if you have sales experience, are innovative, think outside the box, and thrive off of creating efficient systems that make a growing business excel!

Job Duties:

Pre-Class:

  • Send “Welcome” Text to new clients
  • Understand how each new client is attending their first class

During Class:

  • Execute Standard Operations of dance class, including but not limited to
    • Opening and closing doors/be responsible for locking and unlocking the studio
    • Greeting Clients
    • Inputting Client Data
    • Recording class videos; Posting clips from class to Social Media
    • Processing financial transactions for existing members
    • Making Announcements in class
  • Completing sales conversations with all Client Leads, including but not limited to
    • Work in coordination with a team of Ambassadors to converse with each Client Lead
    • Processing all financial transactions
    • Solving problems by overcoming objections
    • Changing lives by making clients permanent members of the DivaDance DC community
  • Making on-the-spot executive decisions as needed to maintain the health and safety of all clients and staff members

Post-Class:

  • Complete a post-class report to management
  • Upload class video to YouTube and post in our private Facebook Group

Other Duties:

  • Follow-up with clients via phone, text, and email to secure purchasing of intro packages and memberships
  • Book clients on intro packages into future classes
  • Any other additional duties necessary that contribute to the operations of the business

Hours and Compensation:

  • 4-5 Classes/week from 5pm – 9pm, Monday - Friday
  • $15/hour plus commission per sale (Approximately $ 1,200 a month)
